NYSC 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Starts June 10 Registration Swearing-In and Camp Reporting Dates

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that its 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course will begin nationwide on June 10. Registration will run from June 10 to June 12, while the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for June 15. The three-week orientation exercise will end on June 30.

National Youth Service Corps NYSC has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence nationwide on June 10, with prospective corps members expected to report to their respective orientation camps across the country.

According to the scheme, registration for the exercise will begin on Wednesday, June 10, and close at midnight on Friday, June 12, while the swearing-in ceremony has been scheduled for Monday, June 15. The three-week orientation programme will end on Tuesday, June 30.

In a statement issued by the management of the scheme, prospective corps members were advised to carefully study their call-up letters and report to the camps indicated therein.

The NYSC also reminded foreign-trained graduates to present their international passports alongside original copies of all documents uploaded during online registration.

As part of measures to ensure the safety of corps members travelling to orientation camps, the scheme urged them to use only government-approved motor parks and recognised transport operators.

The management further warned against night journeys, advising prospective corps members to break their trips and lodge at nearby military barracks, police formations, NYSC secretariats or corps lodges whenever travel extends beyond 6 p.m.

The scheme noted that graduates of polytechnics and monotechnics would be required to present their National Diploma certificates in addition to other registration documents before being admitted into camp.

NYSC reiterated its zero-tolerance policy on document falsification, warning that anyone found presenting forged certificates or other fake documents would be handed over to law enforcement agencies for prosecution.

The management also reminded prospective corps members that failure to report for service as directed in their call-up letters could attract penalties under the provisions of the NYSC Act.

Special provisions were also made for married, pregnant and nursing mothers deployed outside their states of residence. Such individuals were advised to report to orientation camps in their states of domicile, provided they present evidence of marriage, valid identification of their spouses and proof of their husbands’ place of residence.

Required registration documents include the original call-up letter, statement of result or degree certificate, school identity card and other relevant credentials. Medical professionals are additionally required to present evidence of registration with their respective professional bodies.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe travels and a successful service year.
