Federal University Oye-Ekiti Denies Handing Over 2026/2027 Admission Process to External Consultant

The management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has dismissed rumours circulating within the university community alleging that the institution has handed over, or intends to hand over, its 2026/2027 admission process to an external consultant.

The university management, in a clarification on the matter, categorically stated that the information is false.

According to the management, the 2026/2027 admission exercise remains under the purview of the University Admissions Committee, which is duly constituted to coordinate and oversee the university’s admission process.

The committee, the university said, is responsible for conducting the admission exercise in accordance with approved policies, regulations and established procedures.

The management therefore advised members of the university community to disregard the rumour and rely solely on information communicated through the official channels of the university.
