Babcock University VC Decries Nigeria's Over-Reliance on Foreign Technology

Babcock University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ademola Tayo, has expressed concern over Nigeria's heavy reliance on foreign technology, citing it as a significant hindrance to the country's economic progress.

Speaking at an event, Tayo emphasized the need for Nigeria to develop its own software and AI-powered technologies to drive national development .

According to Tayo, Nigeria's continued dependence on foreign technology is unsustainable in today's knowledge-driven economy.
