Bayero University Kano Hosts 5th NIPR Conference

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) is hosting the 5th National Conference of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for professionals in tertiary institutions from November 25-28, 2025.

The conference theme, "Advancing Institutional Transformation through Strategic Public Relations in Higher Education," brings together public relations professionals, media and communication experts, and directors of public relations from academia and industry.

Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of strategic public relations in driving institutional transformation, building trust, and fostering collaboration. BUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Haruna Musa, highlighted the university's growing profile, attributing it to effective communication.
