Bayero University Kano Merges Mid-Semester Break with Christmas and New Year Holiday

The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced an adjustment to the Second Semester calendar, shelving the mid-semester break and merging it with the Christmas and New Year holidays.

As a result, students will begin their holiday break on 22nd December 2025 and are expected to resume on 10th January 2026, instead of the previously scheduled 3rd January 2026. The extended period is intended to compensate for the cancelled mid-semester break.

Students are advised to take note of this change and plan accordingly.
