Benson Idahosa University to Host 2025 Research and Innovation Day Focused on National Development

Benson Idahosa University (BIU) is set to hold its 2025 Research and Innovation Day on October 15th and 16th, 2025, at the Heritage Campus, Ugbor, Benin City, beginning at 9:00 AM daily.

With the theme “Harnessing Research for Productivity and National Development,” the two-day event underscores the university’s commitment to advancing research as a driving force for national transformation.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications, fostering collaboration among scholars, industries, and policymakers.

Through keynote addresses, exhibitions, and presentations, the event will highlight BIU’s strategic vision — that the blueprint of a better Nigeria begins with research.
