Borno State University Matriculates Over 3,944 Fresh Students

Borno State University, Maiduguri (BOSU) has matriculated over 3,944 newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The university held its sixth matriculation ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of the fresh students.

In his matriculation address, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti, urged the students to uphold the values of reading, discipline, and excellence embodied in the matriculation oath. He emphasized that as ambassadors of the university, the students are expected to demonstrate seriousness, hard work, loyalty, and discipline.

Professor Gutti also advised the students to strictly observe the university's rules and regulations and avoid involvement in illegal associations and clubs on and off campus. The matriculation ceremony marks the official beginning of the students' academic journey at BOSU.
