Governor Buni Upgrades Yobe University Teaching Hospital

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has upgraded the Yobe University Teaching Hospital (YUTH) with several state-of-the-art facilities.

The upgrades include a Community Medicine Building, a Physiotherapy Department, modern Lecture Halls, a 100-capacity Hostel for medical students, and an e-library.

The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Waru Goni, praised Governor Buni's commitment to creating an enabling environment for the Yobe State University Medical College to train medical professionals. Dr. Goni highlighted the administration's dedication to the growth of YUTH, despite challenges, and commended the governor's vision for academic excellence.
