Chrisland University Equips Final-Year Students at NYSC Pre-Mobilization Workshop

‎The management of Chrisland University has organized a one-day pre-mobilization workshop for prospective corps members, aimed at preparing final-year students for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

‎The workshop, held on campus, brought together graduating students, key university officials, and representatives from relevant administrative units to provide vital information on the NYSC mobilization process. The initiative is part of the university’s commitment to ensuring a seamless transition for its graduates into national service.

‎Speaking at the event, the NYSC officials emphasized the importance of proper documentation, timely registration, and adherence to NYSC guidelines. Students were guided on critical steps such as data verification, clearance procedures, and online registration requirements.

‎Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifications on common challenges faced during mobilization. The interactive session helped address concerns relating to name discrepancies, age eligibility, and institutional uploads to the NYSC portal.

‎In addition, the workshop highlighted the role of the Student Affairs Division and the importance of maintaining accurate academic records. Students were encouraged to remain proactive and compliant with all requirements to avoid delays in their mobilization.

‎The management let by the Vice Chancellor Prof Oyedunni Sola Arulogun reiterated its dedication to supporting students beyond graduation, noting that the workshop is one of several initiatives designed to equip them for life after university.
