On April 30, 2026, Institute of Gender Studies in collaboration with College of Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS), organized a capacity-building workshop at the main campus of Mekelle University.

Held under the theme “Learning from Lived Experiences for Success in PhD Competition and Research Excellence,” the workshop brought together women PhD candidates, scholars, and mentors to share experiences, challenges, and practical strategies for success.
