The programme is structured to bridge the gap between academic research and professional practice, with a focus on improving management effectiveness, innovation, and contributions to national economic development and societal wellbeing.
The DBA is offered in three specialised tracks: Management and Leadership, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
According to the institution, the programme aims to create a collaborative learning environment involving senior professionals, experienced academics, and industry experts. It also seeks to equip participants with the ability to apply theoretical frameworks to real-world business challenges while developing advanced leadership and research competencies.
Applicants are expected to possess a Master of Business Administration or a related master’s degree in fields such as Business, Management, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or Risk Management from a recognised university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale.

In addition, candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience and currently hold a senior management or senior administrative position with verifiable employment records.
As part of the selection process, applicants are required to submit and defend a research proposal outlining their Statement of Problem, Research Objectives, Literature Review, and Methodology.
The programme requires candidates to request official transcripts from their previous institutions to be sent directly to the Administrative Secretary of the Business School, while research proposals must also be submitted electronically.
The DBA programme will run for a minimum of three years (six semesters) and a maximum of five years (ten semesters), leading to the award of a Doctor of Business Administration degree.
Key dates announced include an application deadline of July 31, 2026, selection interviews scheduled between August 19 and August 21, 2026, and programme commencement on September 12, 2026.
