The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has officially announced that its 27th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session will take place on Friday, 13th February 2026, in strict compliance with the University’s Academic Calendar as approved by Senate.

The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has officially announced that its 27th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session will take place on Friday, 13th February 2026, in strict compliance with the University’s Academic Calendar as approved by Senate.
The ceremony will be campus-based, commencing at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m. simultaneously at both Igbariam and Uli Campuses. The event marks the formal induction of newly admitted students into the University community.
University Management has prohibited all parties and social gatherings within campus premises on the day of the Matriculation. Offenders will face disciplinary action in line with University regulations.
Freshmen are encouraged to participate fully in the programme, which promises a memorable and structured initiation into university life.
