Crescent University Celebrates Fourth Consecutive 100% Pass Rate in RM Examination

The Management of Crescent University, Abeokuta, has celebrated the 100 per cent success recorded by its Nursing graduates in the September 2026 Registered Midwives (RM) examination.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, while welcoming the newly qualified Registered Midwives, applauded them for distinguishing themselves and making the University proud once again.
"This is not your achievement alone but that of your parents, lecturers and all stakeholders," Professor Gbajabiamila said.
During the roll call of the newly qualified Registered Midwives, the Vice-Chancellor also promised undisclosed monetary awards to each of them in recognition of their outstanding performance.
Earlier, the Head of the Department of Nursing, Dr Ademola Shafiu, gave a situation report on the examination results and disclosed that the September 2026 performance marked the fourth consecutive 100 per cent pass rate recorded by Crescent University Nursing students in the Midwifery examinations.
Dr Shafiu noted that the department had recorded similar 100 per cent success rates in March 2025, September 2025, March 2026 and September 2026.
"This is the fourth time Crescent University Nursing would have 100% pass rate in Midwifery examinations, having recorded similar feats in March 2025, September 2025, March 2026 and September 2026 respectively," he said.
The Head of Department used the occasion to express gratitude to the leadership of the University for its support and for providing an enabling environment for the Nursing Department to thrive.
During the presentation of their result sheet to the Vice-Chancellor, the newly registered midwives also chanted the Nursing Anthem to the admiration of members of the University community and other guests present.
Crescent University continues to celebrate the achievement as another milestone in the development of its Nursing programme and the professional success of its graduates.
