Crescent University Honours Distinguished Alumnus, Prof. Ahmed bin Salawudeen, at 8th Special Ramadan Lecture

Crescent University, Abeokuta has honoured its distinguished DSc. Honoris Causa recipient, Prof. Ahmed bin Salawudeen, at the 8th Special Ramadan Lecture organised by Ansar ud Deen Society of Nigeria, Iseyin Branch, Oyo State. 

The university management team was led by the vice chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, other top university officials and students, to solidarise with Prof. bn Salawudeen, a distinguished Crescent University alumnus who played the host of the event.

In his remarks,the Chief Host, Prof. Salawudeen charged Muslims on extending peace and peaceful messages brought about by the blessed month of Ramadan. 

He added that spreading peace greetings was important as it would be the mode of greetings in paradise

He seized the opportunity to re-emphasise his commitment in support and philanthropy to Crescent University, Abeokuta. 

Other members of Crescent University management present at the event are: Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rasaki Kareem;Registrar, Prince Zakariyyah Ajibola;Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Mikail Akindoyin and Principal Assistant Registrar, Public Relations, Mr Idris Katib who were joined by students from various departments of the university.

Recall that Prof. bin Salawudeen was conferred with the prestigious Doctor of Science (DSc.) Honoris Causa in Business Administration by Crescent University at the 17th Convocation of the leading academic institution. 

He was honoured for his contributions to business, global insurance, human capital development and philanthropy.
