CUSTECH Registrar Visits Federal University Lokoja to Study Administrative Best Practices, Honours VC at 60

The Registrar of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor and Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), as part of efforts to understudy the institution's administrative processes and strengthen collaboration between both universities.

 During the visit, she conveyed the goodwill message of the Vice-Chancellor of CUSTECH, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, and congratulated the FUL Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, on his recent 60th birthday celebration and the launch of a book in his honour.

Mrs. Yakubu commended the remarkable achievements recorded by the university under the leadership of Professor Ibileye and expressed admiration for the professionalism, efficiency, and quality of administration observed across the institution.

She noted that as a young and rapidly growing university, CUSTECH is committed to learning from established institutions and adopting best practices that will further enhance service delivery and institutional development.

Responding,the Vice Chancellor, FUL,Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, warmly welcomed the CUSTECH Registrar and applauded the steady growth of CUSTECH under the leadership of its Vice-Chancellor. He encouraged her to interact freely with various departments and units of the university to gain firsthand knowledge of its operational procedures and administrative culture.

 He further advised her to uphold due process, adhere strictly to university regulations, and ensure fairness, inclusiveness, and professionalism in the discharge of her duties.

The visit also provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between both institutions and explore areas of mutual cooperation. As a gesture of goodwill, Professor Ibileye presented his signature gift to the leadership of CUSTECH.
