Delta State University, Abraka Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Nursing Science Program

Delta State University, Abraka, through its Centre for Open Distance and E-Learning (DELSU-CODEL), has announced the commencement of admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The institution is inviting suitably qualified applicants for the Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) degree programme, offering a unique opportunity to overcome traditional barriers to earning a degree in Nursing Sciences from a leading reputable university.

The programme allows students to gain access to top-tier education from a distance, leveraging modern technology for cross-boundary and inclusive learning. Applications are open for the second set of this innovative initiative.

Admission Requirements for 200 Level (Direct Entry Only)

- Candidate must possess a Registered Nursing (RN) certificate from a recognized College of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

- With five (5) O-level credits in Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

General Information

- Applications with two stages: Part-Time JAMB registration and DELSU-CODEL application.

- Applicants for distance and E-learning programme shall not be less than 16 years of age by 1st November, 2025.

- All completed application form must be submitted on or before 30th November, 2025.

- UTME result is not required.

Procedures for Application

- Stage 1: Log onto JAMB CAP website and Register (Part-Time) to obtain the required fee to enable you obtain registration number.

- Stage 2: 

  - Step 1: Click on START FORM on DELSU-CODEL website.

  - Step 2: Select Open Distance and E-Learning as application type and then supply your Surname, First Name, Middle Name, JAMB Registration Number, Mobile Number and E-mail.

  - Step 3: Candidates are to make a payment of Twenty Thousand Naira (20,000) to any of the following Zenith Bank, UBA, Unity Bank or Eco-bank approved by the University.

  - Step 4: Return to the application portal www.studentportal.delsu.edu.ng after payment. Click on "continue application" input your payment reference number and your username and password.

  - Step 5: Complete all required details and upload necessary documents.

  - Step 6: Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy.
