The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele, has felicitated with the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
In a statement issued on December 21, 2025, by the Deputy Registrar and Head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs, Dr. Bode Olofinmuagun, the Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff and students, praised the Governor for his impactful leadership and sustained support for the University.
Professor Ayodele highlighted Governor Oyebanji’s interventions in EKSU, particularly the recent release of an outstanding subvention, noting that such actions have contributed significantly to institutional stability and growth.
He commended the Governor for his commitment to peace, unity and stability in Ekiti State, describing his leadership style as inspirational and exemplary.
The Vice-Chancellor further acknowledged the Governor’s humility, dedication to educational development, and concern for public welfare, stating that his administration has made a lasting impression on both the University and the state at large.
