Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, has recorded a major academic milestone following the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise conducted in October/November 2025, with full accreditation granted to its Law programme and five other academic disciplines.

Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, has recorded a major academic milestone following the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise conducted in October/November 2025, with full accreditation granted to its Law programme and five other academic disciplines.

The approval was formally communicated in a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Philip Oguntunde, and signed by the NUC Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu.

Programmes Granted Full Accreditation

The accredited programmes include:

  • Law
  • Accounting
  • Business Administration
  • Human Resource Management
  • Computer Science
  • Microbiology

This outcome confirms that the affected programmes have met the required national academic and quality assurance benchmarks set by the NUC.

In a statement issued by the Registrar, Mr. Omololu Adegbenro, the Vice-Chancellor commended the university community for what he described as a collective achievement driven by consistency and institutional discipline.

He specifically acknowledged the contributions of faculty members and staff in the accredited departments, noting their commitment to academic quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
