Emir of Kano Appointed Chancellor of Al-Istiqama University Sumaila

Al-Istiqama University Sumaila, Kano, has taken a significant step in its academic journey with the presentation of a letter of appointment to the Emir, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the institution's history.

Distinguished Senator Sulaiman Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, founder of the university, led the delegation of management staff to the Emir's palace, where the letter was formally presented. This ceremony signifies the Emir's new role as the chancellor of the university.

Al-Istiqama University Sumaila, established in Kano State, Nigeria, is a privately-owned institution that has been officially accredited and recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The university offers various undergraduate programs, including Accounting, Economics, and Computer Science, among others.
