FULafia Matriculates 961 Postgraduate Students

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has matriculated 961 postgraduate students for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The ceremony, which marked the 7th edition, was held at the Mallam Adamu Adamu Lecture Halls and Office Complex on the Permanent Site Campus of FULafia.

 

Vice-Chancellor Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman urged the newly matriculated students to promote the good image of the university, avoid negative behaviors, and focus on their academic pursuits. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the university's core values of integrity, innovation, and excellence.

Professor Abdul Rahman highlighted FULafia's commitment to fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity, ensuring that every student is valued and supported regardless of their background or identity. He reminded the students of their privilege to study at one of the most inclusive universities in Nigeria and cautioned them against laziness, truancy, and misconduct.

 

The vice-chancellor assured the students of robust security measures on both campuses and urged them to report any suspicious activities to the authorities. He also reminded them of their pledge to be obedient to the constituted authorities and maintain good conduct throughout their time at FULafia.

FULafia's postgraduate programs have consistently exceeded expectations, and Professor Abdul Rahman commended the College of Postgraduate Studies for its high standards.
