The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology has issued a directive concerning students who received “Disbursed” status notifications under the Nigeria Education Loan Fund scheme but are yet to receive corresponding school fee refunds for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In an internal memorandum dated March 27, 2026, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs instructed all affected students who have already paid their tuition despite the disbursement alert to report to the Student Affairs Department on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, for verification and refund processing.

The circular, signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Ifeoma Mary Okwo, emphasized that students must submit a formal application addressed to the Dean as part of the refund validation process.

Applicants are required to provide key documentation, including valid bank account details (restricted to commercial banks), an active phone number, and a copy of their 2025/2026 school fees payment receipt. These details are intended to ensure proper reconciliation and prevent duplication or processing errors within the refund system.

The university urged all affected students to comply promptly, warning that delays could impact timely processing of refunds. It also advised students seeking clarification to visit the Student Affairs Department for further guidance.

The directive reflects ongoing efforts to streamline institutional coordination with federal student financing mechanisms and improve transparency in fee reimbursement processes within the university system.
