FAMSAS College of Health Sciences and Technology, Keffi Holds Its 4th Matriculation Ceremony

FAMSAS College of Health Sciences and Technology, Keffi, successfully held its 4th Matriculation Ceremony, formally welcoming a new set of students from 10 academic departments into the College community.

The event, declared open by the College Provost, Pharm. Chief Yahaya Ibrahim Aruwa, drew an impressive array of dignitaries from across Nasarawa State. In attendance were representatives from key government institutions, including the Executive Chairmen of Keffi and Karu Local Governments, senior officials from the Federal Medical Centre Keffi, Nigerian Police Force, NDLEA, FRSC, as well as registrars of partner Colleges of Health, traditional leaders such as the Mai Angwan Keffi South and the Onu Igala of Keffi, alongside other respected community figures whose presence added colour and honour to the occasion.

During his address, the Provost congratulated the matriculating students and encouraged them to embrace discipline, hard work, and professionalism as they begin their academic journey. He reaffirmed the College’s dedication to producing competent, ethical, and well-trained health professionals who will play vital roles in strengthening the health system within the state and beyond.

The ceremony was later brought to a close by the College Proprietor, Mr. Idris Danjuma Idris, who delivered a warm vote of thanks. He appreciated all invited guests, community leaders, parents, staff, and students for their support and commitment to the growth of the institution. He emphasized the College’s vision of continuous improvement and expressed confidence that the newly matriculated students would make the institution proud.
