Federal Character Commission Delegation Visits Nasarawa State University, Keffi
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) hosted a delegation from the Federal Character Commission (FCC) on Monday, 10th November 2025, at the University’s Council Chamber. The visit was received by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman (Fellow, UNESCO; ACLS; FIIFP; CBER).
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) hosted a delegation from the Federal Character Commission (FCC) on Monday, 10th November 2025, at the University’s Council Chamber. The visit was received by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman (Fellow, UNESCO; ACLS; FIIFP; CBER).

In her welcome address, Professor Liman expressed profound gratitude to the FCC delegation for the visit and for recognizing NSUK as a reliable partner in national development. She reaffirmed the University’s commitment to sustaining productive collaborations that promote national unity, inclusiveness, and societal advancement.
Speaking during the visit, Honourable Kayode Oladele, Acting Executive Chairman of the FCC, commended the Vice-Chancellor for her unwavering dedication to academic excellence and her contributions to national growth. He also praised the Nasarawa State Government for its continued support toward academic and infrastructural development in the state.

Honourable Oladele described NSUK as “one of Nigeria’s foremost citadels of learning, renowned for its academic excellence and contributions to national development.” He emphasized that the delegation’s visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the FCC and NSUK in areas such as human capital development, capacity building, diversity management, inclusivity, justice, fairness, and equitable resource distribution.
The visit concluded with a group photograph session to commemorate the engagement, marking a step forward in fostering partnership and national development.
