Federal Poly Ayede's Deputy Registrar, Olatinwo, Honored as CIHRM Fellow

The induction of the Deputy Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, Mr Olatinwo Gafari Kolapo, as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Nigeria (CIHRM), has been described as a recognition of the deputy registrar’s visionary commitment and strategic approach to managing people in an organization. 

The institute said this in a statement made available to the newsmen in Lagos on Saturday.

The statement described Mr Olatinwo as a dedicated human resource manager and seasoned strategist with several years of extensive experience traversing the public and private sectors.

According to the statement, “Mr Olatinwo is a visionary leader whose significant contributions to public administration in various positions he had occupied in Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State and Federal Polytechnic Ayede have made a lasting impact on both academic communities and the society at large.

“His deep knowledge, hands-on experience, and ability to create a positive work environment and drive organizational success have established him as a thought leader and innovator in human resource management.

“He has also proven himself as a leader who is passionate about sustainable development and nation-building through several initiatives and a workplace culture that promotes engagement, motivation, and productivity.

“His ability to set organization goals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to employees has positioned him as a key leader with ability to inspire and motivate teams, “it said.

The statement noted that the sound educational and professional background of Mr Olatinwo made him a round peg in a round hole in his position as Deputy Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede.

It described the deputy registrar as a consummate professional with a passion for growth and staff development, who has led numerous transformational projects and facilitated several Initiatives in various positions he had occupied.

“After obtaining two Bachelor of Science degrees in Public Administration and education studies from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state and Fountain University, Osogbo Osun state, the deputy registrar also bagged Masters degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and other several other professional qualifications.

“His dedication to education and societal betterment underscores his role as a champion of human resource management and academic excellence, “it said.

In his response, Mr Olatinwo expressed his gratitude to the Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede Oyo State, Hon. Yakubu Dati (fnipr); the Rector, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed (FNSE) and the school Registrar, Mr. Akin Odesola, for fostering an enabling environment that allows members of staff to grow, innovate, and thrive.

He noted that supportive and inclusive workspace created by the school management served as a great motivation for every staff member to reach their full potential.
