Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Establishes Oil and Gas Centre; Appoints Pioneer Leadership

The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has approved the establishment of the Oil and Gas Centre as a strategic initiative to advance research, training, and innovation in the vital oil and gas sector.

In this regard, the Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Engr. Alhassan Mohammed, former Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, as the pioneer Director of the Centre.

The Management has also approved the appointment of Dr. Umar Garba Pan, former Dean of the School of General Studies and Head of Department of Science Laboratory Technology, as Deputy Director of the Oil and Gas Centre.

In another development, the Management has approved the appointment of Mal. Bello Dogoji Adamu as Deputy Director, Directorate of University Affiliation and Linkages.

The Rector, Alh. Sani Usman charged the new appointees to bring their years of service and experience to bear on their new roles as expectations on them are high.

All appointments take immediate effect. The Polytechnic community and the general public are hereby informed.
