Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Welcomes New Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has officially welcomed its new Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello, who took over the reins from Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua.

The handover ceremony took place at the Polytechnic Council chamber, marking the beginning of a new era for the institution.

During the ceremony, Dr. Gashua assured Dr. Bello of his support, emphasizing that the success of the Rector is synonymous with the success of the polytechnic. He urged the Governing Council, Management, and staff to extend their cooperation and support to the new Rector.

Dr. Bello, in his remarks, expressed his commitment to working tirelessly to rejuvenate the institution. He solicited the support of the staff, stating, "I am here to work with a clean mind." The Chairman of the Governing Council, RT. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, also urged the unions to cooperate with the new Rector, cautioning against allowing the system to collapse.
