Federal Polytechnic Oko Outperforms Rivals to Win UNIZIK Inter-University Insurance Quiz

The Insurance Department of Federal Polytechnic Oko has emerged as the overall champion of the Inter-University Insurance Quiz Competition.

The academic tournament was hosted by Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, during its inaugural Insurance Week 2026.The milestone victory underscores the polytechnic's high academic standards and its ability to compete successfully against prominent universities.Dominance on the National Stage.

The highly competitive quiz was a major highlight of the Insurance Week, which was launched under the theme: “Insurance for All: Driving Inclusion, Innovation and Trust.” The event drew a wide audience of industry executives, regulatory professionals, researchers, and students from across Nigeria.Federal Polytechnic Oko's student contingent demonstrated advanced knowledge of complex insurance principles and sharp critical thinking to take the coveted first position.
