Federal University Dutse Receives NUC Approval for 26 New Academic Programs

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer 26 new academic programs, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programs includeFood Science and Technology, B.A. Arabic, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial Mathematics, Ph.D Chemistry, Ph.D Mathematics, and several postgraduate programs in fields such as fisheries and aquaculture, environmental management and toxicology, human anatomy, human physiology, soil science, management, taxation, English, political science, criminology and security studies, and biochemistry.

The Vice-Chancellor of FUD, Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, thanked the NUC for the approval and congratulated the Planning and Quality Assurance unit and the various departments involved in the process. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in running the new programs.
