Federal University Gashua Imposes 24-Hour Curfew on Students Amidst Protests

 The Federal University Gashua has issued a mandatory 24-hour curfew for all students in halls of residence, effective immediately, in response to the Yobe State Government's declaration of a curfew in Bade Local Government Area due to violent protests.

The university's Registrar emphasized the importance of students' safety and security, urging them to remain on campus until further notice. Students are advised to continue their routine activities, focus on their studies, and adhere to university rules and regulations, while cooperating with security personnel.

Off-campus students are instructed to stay indoors, limit their movement, and carry their identification cards when necessary.
