Borno State University SUG Calls for Electoral Committee Members

The Students Union Government (SUG) of Borno State University is seeking individuals who are willing to serve as members of the electoral committee for the SUG's upcoming general election. Here are the details:

If you are interested in being part of the electoral committee, please declare your interest and register with SUG caretaker committee members at the SUG Secretariat on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Two representative members of the electoral committee will be selected from each faculty, and only the faculty representatives are eligible to vote for the committee members.

A congress meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2 o'clock, during which the election for the electoral committee will take place. All contestants, faculty representatives, SUG caretaker committee members, and Students Affairs Division representatives should be present to ensure a credible election.

Criteria for Contestants of the SUG Electoral Committee:

(a) Contestants must be students of Borno State University with a minimum of 7 semesters.

(b) Contestants must have a CGPA of at least 2.5.

(c) Repeated students are not eligible to contest.

(e) Both genders are eligible to contest.
