KHAIRUN Moves Closer to Launching M.B.B.S Programme as Committee Submits Report

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) has taken a major step toward launching its M.B.B.S programme as the committee overseeing the process, chaired by Emeritus Prof. Musa Muhammad Borodo, submitted its report to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, on March 13, 2025.

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) has taken a major step forward in its preparations to launch the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) programme as the committee overseeing the process formally submitted its report to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

The committee, chaired by Emeritus Prof. Musa Muhammad Borodo, was tasked with evaluating the necessary requirements and infrastructure for the programme’s successful takeoff. The submission of the report marks a significant milestone in KHAIRUN’s commitment to expanding its academic portfolio and contributing to the advancement of medical education in Nigeria.

Speaking at the presentation, Prof. Borodo highlighted the rigorous efforts undertaken by the committee to ensure compliance with the required standards for medical training.
