The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) at Federal University Gashua has commended Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for his transformative contributions to the institution.

Senator Lawan, former Senate President and Sardaunan Bade, has been instrumental in developing the university's infrastructure and facilities.

Some of the notable projects facilitated by Senator Lawan include a 1.5-megawatt solar power project, construction of new student hostels, faculty buildings, and internal roads. A medical college is also under construction, which will lead to the establishment of a teaching hospital.
