Federal University Gashua Lauds Senator Lawan Contributions

The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) at Federal University Gashua has commended Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for his transformative contributions to the institution.

Senator Lawan, former Senate President and Sardaunan Bade, has been instrumental in developing the university's infrastructure and facilities.

Some of the notable projects facilitated by Senator Lawan include a 1.5-megawatt solar power project, construction of new student hostels, faculty buildings, and internal roads. A medical college is also under construction, which will lead to the establishment of a teaching hospital.

The students' union has expressed gratitude for Senator Lawan's commitment to improving education and healthcare in the region. They have also appealed for additional support in areas such as provision of a university student movement bus, construction of a mini secretariat, and drilling of an additional borehole water system on campus.
