Federal University Gashua Mourns the Loss of Dr. Mahmud

 The academic community of Federal University Gashua (FUGA) is in mourning following the passing of Dr. Mahmud, a respected lecturer who transitioned yesterday in Gashua.

The news was received with heavy hearts by colleagues and students alike, who remember him as a cornerstone of the Department of Psychology.

In a heartfelt tribute, Musa Abdullahi Potiskum, a former student, described Dr. Mahmud as a "great person of integrity, respect, and humility." Having taught Psychology to many from their 100-level days, Dr. Mahmud was widely regarded not just as an educator, but as a mentor who embodied professional excellence and kindness.

"He was a man of undeniable character," the tribute read. "His passing is a huge loss to the entire university community."
