Federal University Gashua Mourns the Loss of Dr. Mahmud

 The academic community of Federal University Gashua (FUGA) is in mourning following the passing of Dr. Mahmud, a respected lecturer who transitioned yesterday in Gashua.

The news was received with heavy hearts by colleagues and students alike, who remember him as a cornerstone of the Department of Psychology.

In a heartfelt tribute, Musa Abdullahi Potiskum, a former student, described Dr. Mahmud as a "great person of integrity, respect, and humility." Having taught Psychology to many from their 100-level days, Dr. Mahmud was widely regarded not just as an educator, but as a mentor who embodied professional excellence and kindness.

"He was a man of undeniable character," the tribute read. "His passing is a huge loss to the entire university community."

As the news spreads, prayers have been offered for the repose of his soul. The university community extends its deepest condolences to his family, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and admits the deceased into Al-Jannah Firdaus.
