Federal University Gashua Students Receive NELFUND Upkeep Alerts

Federal University Gashua students have begun receiving upkeep alerts from the National Electronic Fund for Student Financial Aid (NELFUND).

The university's students' union government announced that the second batch of 1,997 verified students will receive payments soon.

The Bursary Department is calling on students to upgrade their bank accounts to receive institutional fee refunds, ranging from ₦55,000 to ₦67,000. Graduates and current students who have already received upkeep payments do not need to take any action.

The university's management and students' union government have expressed gratitude to the NELFUND management, university officials, and other stakeholders who contributed to this achievement.

Students are encouraged to apply early for the next round of NELFUND disbursements to prevent late payments and ensure smoother processing.
