Federal University Lokoja and FCT College of Education Partner to Launch Long Vacation Term Programme

Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Capital Territory College of Education (FCTCOE), Zuba, to launch a Long Vacation Term (LVT) Programme

The partnership aims to strengthen teacher education and professional development, expanding access to quality teacher training and academic excellence.

The Vice-Chancellor of FUL, Professor Olayemi Durotimi Akinwumi, described the partnership as a strategic move to build capacity and advance education. The Provost of FCTCOE, Dr. Sule Mundi, expressed confidence in the partnership, citing FUL's reputation for academic distinction and the College's readiness to provide infrastructural and instructional support.

The LVT programme is expected to provide in-service teachers and education professionals with an opportunity to earn academic qualifications through a flexible and intensive structure during vacation periods.
