Federal University Lokoja Catholic Chaplaincy Holds Thanksgiving Mass in Honor of Vice-Chancellor

The Regina Caeli Catholic Chaplaincy of the Federal University Lokoja organized a special Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, February 16, 2025, to commemorate the 4th anniversary of Professor Olayemi Akinwumi's tenure as Vice-Chancellor, as well as his recent birthday celebration.

 

Professor Akinwumi, accompanied by his wife, was honored with a traditional attire (agbada) presented by the Catholic Church. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the chaplaincy for the gesture and the thoughtful gift.

The Thanksgiving Mass was a testament to the university community's appreciation for Professor Akinwumi's leadership and dedication to the institution. The event served as a celebration of his achievements and a recognition of his commitment to the university's growth and development.
