National Open University of Nigeria Invites Students to Participate in 12th All Nigerian Universities Debating Championship

The Directorate of Learner Support Services (LSS) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is calling on interested and outstanding students to participate in the 12th All Nigerian Universities Debating Championship (ANUDC), scheduled to take place at Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in 2025.

This event offers a unique opportunity for NOUN students to showcase their intellectual capabilities, foster civic engagement, and enhance the university's visibility within the national and international academic community.

To be eligible to participate, students must meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrate strong academic performance and critical thinking abilities

- Currently have a CGPA of 3.5 and above

- Exhibit excellent communication skills (oral and written)

- Show a keen interest in debating and public speaking activities

- Be active members of student forums within the study centers

Interested students are required to submit their details to the Counselling unit for a screening exercise, which will take place soon.

The deadline for submission of interest is Monday, February 17, 2025.
