Federal University Lokoja Mourns Loss of Five Students, Declares Lecture-Free Days

The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) community is in mourning following the tragic loss of five students in a fatal trailer accident.

The university has declared lecture-free days from 12 noon on Tuesday, February 18, and all-day Wednesday, February 19, 2025, as a mark of respect for the departed souls.

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, all university activities will be observed on a low-key, and the institution's flag will fly at half-mast as a symbol of mourning.

The university community is in shock and grief over the loss of these promising students. The management, staff, and students extend their condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the deceased.
