The Deanery of Student Affairs at FUE Zaria has issued a directive prohibiting students from selling books, instructional materials, or collecting money from fellow students without official approval.

The Deanery of Student Affairs at FUE Zaria has issued a directive prohibiting students from selling books, instructional materials, or collecting money from fellow students without official approval.

The memorandum (Ref: FUEZ/DSA/VC/004, dated March 12, 2026) specifically targets Class Representatives of both NCE and Undergraduate programmes who may be engaging in such unauthorized activities.

The Dean of Student Affairs emphasized:

“No student is permitted to sell books, instructional materials, or collect any form of money from other students on behalf of any person or organization without obtaining prior approval from the Dean, Student Affairs Division.”

Students who violate this directive will face disciplinary actions in line with university regulations. The memorandum has been circulated to the Vice Chancellor, Acting Registrar, Deans, HODs, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU), Director of Security, Deputy Registrar (Servicom), and Students’ Representative Council (SRC).

The university urges all students to seek proper authorization before engaging in any financial or material transactions on campus to avoid sanctions.
