Federal University of Education, Zaria VC Appoints Deputy Deans, Assistant Coordinator

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure has approved the appointment of Deputy Deans for various Faculties in the University and Assistant Dean for Student’ Affairs.

Dr. Sa’eed Adewusi Gbolahan from the Department of Chemistry is appointed as the Acting Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science Education, and Mal. Sambo Musa Duguza of the Department of Special Education will serve as the Acting Deputy Dean, Faculty of Education.

Similarly, Dr. (Mrs.) Ahmed Rakiya from the Department of Home Economics is now the Acting Deputy Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Vocational Education, while Dr. Lawal Suleiman from English Department is appointed the Acting Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Arts Education.

Additionally, Mr. Solomon Barkindo Briska from the Department of General Studies Education is appointed the Assistant Dean, Students’ Affairs.

In the same vein, the Vice Chancellor has appointed Dr. Iliya Yakubu of the Department of Educational Administration & Planning as Assistant Coordinator NCE Part - Time Programme

All the appointments take effect from 25th September, 2025. The Vice-Chancellor, while congratulating the new appointees and assuring them of the full support of the Management, urged them to discharge their duties diligently and in strict accordance with approved rules, regulations, and other guiding principles of the University.
