According to the university, applications are open to candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The online application portal opened on Monday, May 25, 2026, and will close on Friday, July 17, 2026. Interested applicants are required to complete their registration via https://utme.fupre.edu.ng.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME
Select FUPRE as first choice or complete a change of institution to FUPRE via JAMB
Possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026
Direct Entry Admission
Direct Entry candidates must possess recognised certificates, diplomas, or degrees approved by NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.
However, Direct Entry admission is not available for:

Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Entrepreneurship
Procurement Management
Microbiology
Biochemistry
Petroleum Chemistry
Post-UTME Screening
The screening exercise is scheduled to hold from July 20 to July 24, 2026, with a screening fee of ₦2,000.

Generate invoice and pay ₦2,000 screening fee
Enter JAMB registration number
Complete the online application form
Use a valid phone number linked to JAMB
Create a password for access to admission status
Review and submit application
Print confirmation slip
