The management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has enacted immediate security measures in response to heightened security tension within the state.

The directives, arising from a security meeting held on December 3, 2025, at Oloye's Palace, Oye-Ekiti, are aimed at safeguarding lives and properties within the university community and adjoining areas.

The circular, dated December 12, 2025, and signed by Helen I. Abiodun on behalf of the Registrar, emphasizes that these measures are for the information and safety of the entire university community.

All staff and students are strongly advised to adhere strictly to these new security protocols.
