Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State, has achieved a major milestone with the successful conduct of its first dialysis session following comprehensive renovation and remodeling of the Dialysis Complex.

The landmark event marks the commencement of full clinical activities at the upgraded facility, which is expected to improve access to life-saving renal care for patients with kidney-related ailments across Yobe State and the North-East region.

The development reflects the centre’s drive to improve healthcare infrastructure and expand specialized services under Medical Director Prof. Hadiza Abdullahi Usman. FMC Nguru remains one of Nigeria’s foremost tertiary institutions dedicated to quality, patient-centred care.
