FUET Signs MoU to Establish Africa Centre of Excellence for Waste-to-Energy Studies

The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SectorLead Nigeria Limited to establish the Africa Centre of Excellence for Waste-to-Energy Studies.

The centre is designed to advance research, innovation, and capacity building in waste-to-energy technologies, positioning FUET as a hub for sustainable environmental solutions and energy development across Nigeria and the African continent.

The partnership aims to promote sustainable waste management, foster technological advancement, and contribute to environmental sustainability and economic growth, marking a significant step in strengthening the institution’s leadership in cutting-edge environmental and energy research.
