The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) is set to resume academic activities on Friday, March 6, as administrators, community leaders, and private partners coordinate efforts to provide students with safe, comfortable, and affordable accommodation.
In a significant housing initiative, the University has secured agreements with building owners for the installation of 400 double bunks, creating 800 bed spaces across strategically selected hostels. The buildings will feature solar-powered amenities, enhanced security, and controlled access, while hostel management will follow the Hall Warden system to ensure discipline, order, and responsive student support.

The exact hostel allocations will be published by Sunday, March 1, allowing parents and guardians sufficient time to make arrangements. The University and the Okeho community are working together to ensure a seamless and productive start to the semester, emphasizing welfare, security, and academic focus.
Stakeholders reaffirm their commitment to excellence, innovation, and student-centered growth, setting the stage for a vibrant campus life at FUNATO.
