FUGashua VC Meets Security Personnel to Bolster Campus Safety

Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Gashua, Prof. Yaqub Ahmed Geidam, today engaged the university’s security personnel in an interactive session to review performance and discuss restructuring measures for stronger campus security.

Held at the 284-Capacity Lecture Hall, the meeting had principal officers and members of the University Security Committee in attendance. They included Registrar Dr. Abubakar Mamuda; University Librarian and Committee Chairman Dr. Adam Saleh Gambo; Bursar Malam Muhammad Ahmed Ali; Dean, Faculty of Arts Prof. Emmanuel Amase; and Acting Chief Security Officer DCP Garba Shuaibu (Rtd).

Prof. Geidam stressed the critical role of security staff in sustaining a safe learning environment. He said the session was aimed at assessing current arrangements, identifying operational gaps, and developing strategies to improve service delivery and overall security effectiveness across campus.
