FUKASHERE Former VC Professor Alhassan Mohammed Gani Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Alhassan Mohammed Gani, the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State. He passed away this morning at Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja.

Professor Gani was a renowned Nigerian academic and administrator who served as Vice Chancellor of Federal University Kashere from February 2016 to February 2021. Born in 1959 in Delgi, Plateau State, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Botany from the University of Jos and later earned his Master's degree in Applied Plant Science from the University of London. He received his Doctoral degree in Plant Physiology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University.
