FUL Launches Official Monthly Publication “FUL Voice”

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Gbenga Ibileye, has unveiled the maiden edition of FUL Voice, the institution’s official monthly publication, describing it as a strategic step toward strengthening communication and enhancing global visibility.

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Gbenga Ibileye, has unveiled the maiden edition of FUL Voice, the institution’s official monthly publication, describing it as a strategic step toward strengthening communication and enhancing global visibility.

The launch, held on April 20, 2026, was presented by the Directorate of Strategic Communication and Corporate Documentation (DSCCD). Professor Ibileye commended the Directorate for its innovation and performance, noting that the initiative has justified the confidence placed in it since inception.

He revealed that during a recent engagement in Egypt, the University received commendations for its growing visibility, adding that the positive feedback underscores both progress and the need for sustained effort. He urged the DSCCD to remain innovative and adaptive, stressing that FUL Voice must be sustained as a monthly publication rather than a one-off project. Management, he assured, would consider strengthening the Directorate with additional manpower to enrich content diversity.

Earlier, DSCCD Director Dr. Tosin Olagunju described the publication as the birth of a vital institutional voice designed to inform, document, and project the identity and achievements of the University.
