FULafia Hosts Training on Protecting Rights of Staff and Students with Special Needs

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) recently organized a one-day training session for its staff on "How to protect the rights of staff and students with special needs on campus."

The training, held at the Malam Adamu Adamu Twin Lecture Hall on the Permanent Site Campus in Lafia, aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with special needs.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Design, Prof. Ibrahim Hassan Ogiri, emphasized the university's commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of the university community.

The training brought together principal officers, provosts, deans, directors, heads of departments, and other key stakeholders to discuss strategies for promoting the rights and well-being of staff and students with special needs.
