FULAFIA lecturer and his children who assaulted a student arraigned in court

The Nasarawa police command has arraigned Dr. Fred Ayokhia, a lecturer with the Federal University of Lafia, and three of his children over the assault of a 20-year-old student, Blessing Mathias monitored by myschoolnews.ng 

This comes after the lecturer alongside his children Emmanuela  Ayokhai,18, Bob Praise Ayokhai, 23, and Saint-Dan Ayokhai, 21, were caught on camera assaulting and stripping Blessing naked after they learned that Blessing had beaten up their sister over a man. Read here.

The actions of the lecturer and his children generated wide public condemnation which eventually led to their arrest on Saturday, October 22.

Announcing the arraignment, the Spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said the accused were arraigned at High Court 1, Lafia, before Justice Aisha Aliyu, the Chief Judge of the state on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
